About Us
Beyond Borders Refuge is a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of refugees, raising awareness about their struggles, and fostering solidarity to support their integration into new communities. We believe that no individual should be defined by borders but rather by their resilience, potential, and fundamental human rights. Through storytelling, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to create a space where refugees can find hope, resources, and a sense of belonging.
This initiative was founded by Mehmet Salih Filitoglu, a Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies student in Turin, who has dedicated years to working on refugee-related projects and advocating for their rights. His passion for justice and equality has driven him to create a platform that not only shares the experiences of displaced individuals but also fosters a global network of solidarity. By shedding light on the struggles and triumphs of refugees, Beyond Borders Refuge seeks to break down misconceptions and build bridges of understanding between communities.
